There's this thing called respect. I could do nothing but live by the word. It always looks like people enjoy life on this site. Pretty things and diamond rings; it's not always about the glitz. Homie, I'm from Wisconsin but, all of my friends look like they grew up on the east coast. Let me invite you to the balcony to view the skyline in Soho. A Wisconsin reunion and you thought we'd only be about cheddah cheese...

*Incase you're wondering... you won't find this bag on a filthy corner in Times Square. This is quality and it's real. Take a stroll into Chanel #smiles.
There's a certain vibe you can't help but fall for when you're with Wisconsinites. However, I rarely meet people from the East Coast that have been set on moving to the Mid-west. What makes you think I just got into the game? No. I've been living this life since the 90s and I'm a firm believer in welcoming the new and polishing the old. John Erik, high school friend of mine, came down last week to visit his brother Joe and all hell broke loose. John invited me, some ladies from Westchester (I love to say Westchestah) and the stinch of NYC. My icebreaker was a given and aimed towards the lady in the stripped blouse, "What made you want to go to school in Wisconsin? Besides the fact that UW Madison is a top notch." Her reply, "Madison is like a piece of the city (NYC) stolen from NY and placed in Wisconsin. Everyone there calls people from the East coast the coasties & people from Wisconsin the sconies." It's a UW-Madison thing; the coasties and the sconies. This girl told me a majority of her class applied to UW Madison and went on with the transition. John & I thought we were they only ones surrounded by entire classes geared towards attending UW Madison because, people didn't want to leave home. Sure fooled us.
Any way, this is the life we're living: Easy, classy, educated party people.

FYI, she totally labeled me as an ex-sconie gone coastie. In fact, she never even thought I was a sconie to begin with! Work on how you want to be perceived. Eventually, someone will tell you what they see and possibly tell you what you want to hear ;-)
